BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia will leave Dhaka for London on December 29 for medical treatment.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir confirmed this information on Sunday (December 22) night.
The BNP Secretary General said, “I hope that if everything is fine, she will go to London on December 29. Four-five doctors will go with Madam. Preparations have already been completed.”
It is learned that Khaleda Zia will leave Dhaka for London on a flight during the day on December 29 (Sunday) if no new physical problems arise. Among those traveling with the BNP Chairperson are Medical Board member Dr. Shahabuddin, personal physician Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain and some others.
Earlier, on October 29, Professor Zahid Hossain had said, “Khaleda Zia will first be taken to London in a ‘Long Distance Specialized Air Ambulance’ for advanced treatment. From there, she will be taken to a multidisciplinary medical center in a third country.”
