‘Pushpa 2’ is now the highest grossing film at the Indian box office, surpassing ‘Baahubali 2’.
Allu Arjun-starrer ‘Pushpa 2’ has earned a total of Rs 1831 crore at the box office worldwide within 32 days of its release. On the other hand, the amount of income in India is Rs 1438 crore.
And with this, Allu, Rashmika and Fahadh’s film surpassed SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2’. Previously, ‘Baahubali 2’ starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty had held this position for the last 8 years.
According to a report by the business website SackNil, ‘Pushpa 2’ has earned 1438 crores in India in 32 days. On the other hand, Baahubali 2 earned 1416 crores. The film earned 1810 crores worldwide.
Pushpa Team’s X Handle (Twitter) informed that ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ is now an industry hit in the Indian cinema. This film now has the highest income of any Indian film.
However, the record for the highest income worldwide is still held by Aamir Khan’s Dangal. Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ earned only 535 crores in India, but earned 2000 crores worldwide. Now it’s time to see if ‘Pushpa 2’ can break that record.
