Reversal News Desk,
Liton Das is not in rhythm with the bat. After the national team, this wicketkeeper-batsman is not seeing runs in the BPL either. Dhaka Capitals coach Khaled Mahmud Sujon said that he wants Liton in the team even if he does not get runs.
Dhaka lost to Rangpur Riders by 7 wickets in their fourth match on Tuesday (January 7). With this, the capital team has lost all four matches. Dhaka coach Sujon faced the media after the match.
Regarding Liton’s run drought, Sujon said, ‘He (Liton) is one of my favorite cricketers in Bangladesh cricket. Although everyone keeps telling me, I will keep saying that even if Liton scores 10 runs, I want to keep him in the team. Because I am such a big fan of Liton.’
Stating that Liton needs a big innings, the Dhaka coach said, ‘He is going through a bad patch. Everyone goes through this. He needs a good innings. He started well in the first match. It is not a very big innings in terms of strike rate in T20 terms, but even then… if you watch his batting, it is nice to see that 30 runs.’
