Currently, this fruit is available in many countries of the world including Turkey, Iran, Syria, Spain, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Burma, etc. That is why it can be said that pomegranate is a widely distributed and well-known fruit worldwide.

Pomegranate contains vitamins, butylic acid, ursolic acid. It also contains some alkaline substances such as pseudopyrethrin, pepterethrinon, isoperethrin, methylpyrethrin, etc. Due to these ingredients, pomegranate is used in Ayurvedic and Unani medicine. Because it is used to relieve various diseases, pomegranate is called the best beneficial fruit for the heart according to Kabiraji.

It is not only the seeds of pomegranate that are used. Starting from the roots of the pomegranate tree, the bark, and the peel of the fruit are all used as medicine. Pomegranate flowers are hemostatic.
